Creative Director

The Creative Director is responsible for the quality of all visual work produced by the agency for all clients or a group of clients. This role directs activities of team to maintain standards of creative excellence and achievement of goals. They have Senior-level client contact and presentation, while developing strategic concepts, ideas, and visualizations that deliver on external clients’ business needs. The Creative Director reports to the Executive Creative Director.

Specific Duties:

· Leads the creative process through the review phases of the creative plan

· Is able to work effectively across all disciplines in the Creative group, including Copy, Design, Tech, UX and Production

· Ensures that internal processes are followed to create and produce products for various projects

· Identifies and develops creative needs for the agency against client objectives

· Mentors less experienced creatives

· Creates and delivers ideas and themes based on sound strategic rationales and a deep understanding of branding

· Leads client presentations (for both new business and projects) and presents concepts and designs to both internal and external clients

· Interacts with others in Creative Center of Excellence (including other Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Production Managers) to deliver on internal client’s objectives

· Works cross-functionally with Strategy and Research when necessary to deliver best work on a project

· Meets project deadlines and budgets

· Create and write content for presentations for clients

· Delivers superior presentations for new business pitches

· Performs other tasks as necessary to deliver on Creative group objectives


· 8-10 years in a leadership role in copy within an Omnichannel agency

· Possess a deep passion and understanding of all creative capabilities

· Establish direction and vision which mobilizes the creative team to meet clearly defined goals

· Expert written, verbal and presentation skills

· Demonstrate an ability to coach and develop creative personnel within a discipline

· Demonstrates strong conceptual abilities

· Must be results and detail-oriented, while juggling multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines

· Demonstrates a range of projects types to include promotion and entertainment, enterprise and e-commerce applications and conceptual based programs.

· Strong portfolio highlighting past work required
