Louisville, KY — April 24, 2018 – Kentucky’s largest independent advertising agency, Scoppechio, has launched new creative work on behalf of Brown-Forman’s el Jimador Tequila to celebrate the launch of its unofficial Margarita Season, which began on February 22 and concludes on Cinco de Mayo (May 5). Central to el Jimador’s new campaign is the notion of “Living the Marg Life” that is the call-to-arms for bringing people together over margaritas to celebrate the great moments in life.
The creative work was executed primarily through mobile and social-friendly platforms via vertical videos. “We always strive to create content that’s as relevant as possible for each platform,” said Stephen Childress, Chief Creative Officer at Scoppechio. “In this case, we utilized a unique approach to vertical video that’s already proving to be extremely effective standing out and connecting with our audience in a fun, engaging way,” Childress added.
In addition to the vertical videos, a landing page, in-store materials, and social content, Scoppechio helped craft a secondary push to advocate the #MargLife through public relations efforts, with the end goal being the creation of an official margarita emoji.
Early engagement results show that the campaign is tracking well with consumers as traffic to el Jimador’s website is up nearly 20%.
